Privacy Policy
Last updated 27 September 2026. Phoenix Upscaler, Phoenix Cloud Studio and Phoenix Motion are products of Phoenix Labs (“we”, “us”).
The short version
The desktop app processes your video entirely on your own computer — your footage never reaches us. The cloud studio only receives a file when you choose to upload one, uses it to run that single job, and deletes it shortly afterwards. We don’t sell your data.
Desktop app
Restoration runs locally; your video files are never uploaded. To activate a licence, the app sends your licence key and a device identifier to our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, to confirm the purchase and count activations. It does not send your files, their contents, or their filenames.
Cloud studio
- Your email — collected so we can attach a receipt to the job and let you return to it. We do not send marketing email.
- Your uploaded file — stored only to run the restore and to let you download the result, then deleted automatically (typically within 48 hours). We do not view, share, or use it to train models.
- Payment details — entered directly with Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. We never see or store your card details.
Phoenix Motion
- Your image: in the web app, re-encoded in your browser before upload, which removes its metadata (including any GPS location). Images sent through the API are stored as sent, and when an assistant gives us a link we download that image once. Either way it is used to make the clip you asked for and deleted as soon as that clip is made. We do not view, share, or use it to train models.
- Your prompt and finished clips: kept so you can see and download your clips. Clips are deleted after about two days; the prompt stays in your clip history.
- USDC payments: your wallet address and the transaction are public on the Base blockchain. We keep them with the top-up so we can match refunds and answer support questions.
- Agent keys: we store a one-way hash of each key, the name you gave it, its limit, what it has spent and when it was last used, so you can see and revoke them.
- Your wallet key: kept in your browser. We store only a one-way hash of it. Your top-up receipt from Lemon Squeezy includes a link carrying the key, so you can reopen your balance from your email.
- Your email: given to Lemon Squeezy for the receipt when you top up, and kept with your balance so we can help if you contact us. We do not send marketing email.
Payments
Purchases (the desktop licence, each cloud job, and Phoenix Motion top-ups) are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record and handles billing, tax, and card data under its own privacy policy.
Analytics
We may use privacy-preserving, cookie-free website analytics (aggregate page counts only) to understand traffic. This does not identify you or track you across other sites.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete any cloud job data we still hold, or ask what we hold about you, by emailing [email protected]. Because uploads are deleted automatically, there is usually nothing left to remove.
